Jesus, the son of god, was as real as Harry, the child magician.
Same old argument of burden shifting.
Hmmm, 'beat an atheist'? Never thought about it in that way, but an inclination to S&M would explain a lot. I mean, why keep on presenting the same old, same old arguments for the existence of god when you know you're going to be debunked?
How are you holding up since the Diet Coke incident from yesterday?
I thought you were a no vote on this one? Why do you get so defensive and deflect to obama so much then?
It's certainly worthy of rebuke.
Here they are...
It's all Irish stuff. Not really my cuppa tea.
Given that there are some vegans of the same faith as yours - once again, what is your diet?
History doesn't have your back on that one. Give Christians the chance to be governed by "Christian" law and the executions for bad-thought start to increase.
Since the bible is made up of old stories, it follows that said morality in those stories existed before the bible was put together.
Dead Sea Scrolls:
He's in rural Alabama. Where do you expect him to go?
The first stars formed less than 200 million years after the initial rapid expansion of the observable universe (the 'Big Bang'). The first galaxies not long after. So no, our Sun was not the first, nor even among the first stars to exist in the universe. Our Galaxy had existed for about 5 billion years before our Sun came into existence, and our Galaxy itself (or at least our Galaxy as it is in its present form: parts of it may predate this) formed more than 3 billion years after the initial rapid expansion of the observable universe.
Can you explain what you mean by "spiritual"? Are you suggesting that besides physical material, there is some other kind of "spiritually" existing stuff?
Paul affirmed there were many brothers of the Lord. Brothers in Christ. St. Jerome confirmed the perpetual virginity of Mary. Even Protestant leaders such as Martin Luther, Zwingli, and Calvin all believed in the perpetual virginity of Mary. Only modern Protestant and non-Christian enemies of the Church started twisting the faith into a false version of Christianity.
Lol same. It wouldn't bother me if they dumped all his music into the ocean, along with him wearing cement slippers.
Well, personal stories are, by their very nature, subjective and thus open to a multitude of interpretations. While they're certainly comforting, they're not evidence.
Negligence sure- but not equally responsible.
If I'm walking by a classroom door, I'd prefer to hear a teacher saying, "65 million years ago..." rather than "...and on the third day..."
I'd be double excited!!!! I got a degree AND a man who wants to marry me!! I say it's a win/win!!
