Any person who calls something they disagree with hate speech. How many US colleges have unconstitutional speech codes?

The 'Creator,' like 'nature and nature's God' is a reflection of the thinking of the time and what was considered a proper justification for the idea that humans possess unalienable rights. Is belief in a Deist Creator not a religious belief? Your argument is that in the twelve years between the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the US, all of the thinkers and founders involved experienced some transformational conversion away from the foundational idea upon which their independence was founded?

We say "used to", but you know, the Romans had divorce. I know if my dad had to stay married to my mother, it would have been a death sentence for him. Maybe that's why people didn't used to live so long.

I have a friend in that position - they've been together a long time, they've talked about getting married, it's certainly expected, and they're pretty much common law spouses at this point - but she wants that actual engagement.

"a theory means all the evidence thus far, fully supports it." Agreed. But the key phrase here is "thus far." I'm not a physicist, mathematician, or evolutionary biologist, but I'm also not totally ignorant (only mostly). Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on this. Newton's "Law of Gravity" (a popular misnomer) was modified by Einstein's Theory of Relativity. Then quantum physics seems to be making inroads even on Einstein's math. So a theory (scientific definition) is true to the best of our knowledge, but is subject to revision based on new discoveries. That may be why scientists never claim it's a fact. We treat it like one, and it acts like one, but it may not be complete.

That your god even has a second part of rules to his bible called the new testament alone tells us you're wrong about god being timeless and unchanging

Good question. I have read another study based on human mitochondrial DNA but I have not come across the one you mention.

Not if they gain all the weight back plus more. They need to tackle whatever issues drove them to overeat in the first place. Shame doesn't really do that. Even if they beat the odds and keep the weight off, those issues will remain unresolved.

Besides..... Maybe, more simply, ''@Dynbrake'' doesn't UNDERSTAND what the word ''evidence'' means in this contemporary world of ours ! !
